What is DAO?

Decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) are organizations designed to be automated and decentralized. They operate as a type of venture capital fund, based on open source code and without a centralized management structure.

All transactions of the organization are recorded and maintained on the blockchain. It is in the interest of the members of the DAO - if properly respected - to be heard and acted upon. Therefore, DAOs are transparent and, in theory, indestructible. All organizational transactions are recorded and maintained on a blockchain.

APY stands for Annual Percentage Rate. This measures the real rate of return on your principal by taking into account the effect of compounding.

In StormYield Finance, the $STU token represents your principal and compound interest is periodically added to every Rebase event(every 5 minutes).

Simple formulas and calculation of interest:

A = Final Investment Value, using a simple interest formula: A = P (1 + rt) where P is the Principal Amount Invested at R% Interest Per Period for t Number of Periods. Where r is in decimal form; r = R / 100; r and t in the same time unit.

The cumulative amount of an investment is the initial principal P plus the accumulated simple interest, I = Prt, so we have:

A = P + I = P + (Prt), and finally A = P (1 + rt)

Calculate the total amount to be paid (principal + interest), solve for A

A = P (1 + rt)

Calculate principal, settle for P

P = A / (1 + rt)

Calculate the interest rate as a decimal, solve for r

r = (1 / t) (A / P - 1)

Calculate interest as a percentage

R = r * 100

Calculate time, solve for t

t = (1 / r) (A / P - 1)

For example:

P = (Principle + Interest) = $1,000

A = (Total Accumulated Amount) = 6,692,126.2 USD

Where did the team come from?

Our team is multinational, consisting of a developer team of 4 from Vietnam and Singapore with more than 3 years of experience in Blockchain, Python, Javascript, Solidity and Big Data. In addition, we have 2 designers and 5 people marketing team from the US - all with experience and connections in the blockchain industry to develop the project and support the community.

How can we maintain such high APY?

STY Insurance Fund:

SIF acts as an Insurance fund that always pays out a 0.00838% rebase rate to all $STY holders every 5 minutes to ensure price sustainability, quick crash avoidance and boost long-term evolution of the STY Protocol.

Lightning rod

The Illuminated Bar is the STY Protocol's original Write mechanism. 2.5% of all $STY traded is burned in the Lighting Bar.

The more he trades, the more Rod liquidates. In the same way that real-life lightning rods eliminate threats from lightning, the STY Lighting Rod protects the STY Protocol by reducing the cyclic supply thus counteracting back-base active concerns. and keep the protocol sustainable.

STY Automated Liquidity Tool (SALE)

Liquidity is a pool of funds split 50/50 between the $STY token and the $BNB token, allowing anyone to buy and sell their STY/BNB at any time.

However, you cannot get good prices if there is not enough liquidity in the pool. Therefore, the STY Team designed the STY Automated Liquidity Tool (SALE) to automatically inject more liquidity into the Initial Liquidity Pool.

How can we avoid whale shoals?

Tax is set to 30% total including buying and selling fees, so if whales make a trade they will lose 30% of the fee which will go back to the insurance fund, liquid vs lightning rod (benefit for holder).
